Tbilisi, Georgia’s largest urban center, established in the 5th century AD along the Mtkvari river, stands as a cultural mosaic. Tour Amenities

Our guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby at 10:00 AM.

The Tbilisi tour begins at Europe Square and Rike Park. You'll take a ride on an aerial cable car up to the ancient Narikala Fortress, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city from the mountain top. As you walk downhill, you'll have the chance to explore the Legvtakhevi waterfall, the bath house district, Shardeni street, and Meidan square. You'll also cross the pedestrian glass Bridge of Peace above the river Mtkvari and see both the old and new districts of Tbilisi. After that you'll drive to Mtskheta, a historic town and former capital, just a 30-minute drive from Tbilisi.

Before leaving Tbilisi, your first stop will be at the Tbilisi Sea Memorial, a large bronze monument known as the "Chronicle of Georgia." It's a significant piece of Soviet art in the city, offering a view of the Kartly mountains and the Temka district.

Once you reach Mtskheta, you'll visit two important Christian architectural sites: the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and the Jvari Monastery. Both of these monuments are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Also, take a moment to explore a small nunnery located behind Svetitskhoveli. You can find it by following the souvenir stalls along Arsukidze street, leading to the Aragvi riverside. In Mtskheta, there's also the Antioch, the oldest basilica, which has been recently restored and painted.

At the end of the day, you'll be driven back to your hotel.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
