Tour starts at 10:00. Our first stop will be at Bodbe Nunnery, where a vibrant flower garden complements the backdrop of the Great Caucasus mountains and the sweeping Alazani valley. Inside the 9th-century basilica lies the relics of the 5th-century female evangelist, St. Nino. This spiritual connection has turned the village into a significant pilgrimage site in Georgia.
After a couple of turns, the charming old trading town of Signagi reveals itself on the hills of the Gombori mountain range. Cobbled streets, houses adorned with carved wooden balconies, and the wedding palace offer an enchanting medieval atmosphere. The breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley make Signagi a must-visit destination.
A homemade lunch awaits you at a local house. Once recharged, bid farewell to Signagi and head to the village of Tsinandali.
Explore the Tsinandali residence of Aleksander Chavchavadze, a 19th-century Kakhetian nobleman, poet, and public figure. The house, adorned with its wooden balcony, ballroom, winery, and a mix of English-French garden styles, hosts exhibitions, international classical music festivals, wine forums, and diverse events. Wander through the labyrinthine gardens and savor a glass of wine in the 19th-century winery.
Our next stop is Telavi town and the Batonistsikhe complex – another royal residence. It's noteworthy that King Erekle II both was born and passed away within the same room here. Following the palace tour, we'll proceed to Alaverdi Cathedral, a remarkable 11th-century monument.
Evening - As the sun begins to set, we'll make our way back to Tbilisi, marking the end of a day filled with exploration and discovery.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
